Article Marketing: Look At Magazines For Inspiration

Article marketing takes a lot of work and so the more places to find new inspiration on what you need to write about the better, this tip I read over at problogger and it's a good one, basically it involves you trawling through magazine racks at the shops and writing down key titles and phrases that can help you write solid article titles and even if your niche is different you can still pick up some good title ideas from different magazines.

Magazines reflect current trends and can be quite seasonal in their marketing approach and as such can be very useful for browsing on a regular basis for title research and studying for new content, do this weekly if you can, as you can build up vast amounts of new ideas and quite often one idea will lead to at least 20 others, just get past the notion of will people look at me whilst I am stood there with a notepad and pen, just think this is your job and you are not a magazine spotter or anything sad like that, this is part of your research and work needs to be done.

Ideas For Writing Articles

Writing articles can be time consuming, but how do you write them quicker and actually get the ideas for them in the first place? Well you simply look at other written article on the web and you start to take notes about specific topics and then these notes that you've taken should be very loose notes to start with, as you don't want to go and duplicate other peoples work as that is bad for your online article writing career.

I like to write summarized lists of all the points in an article and these could be one sentence on each line and that's it and I find that this is enough for me to go on and ellaborate with my own words, it works this technique because I've been doing it for the last 2 years, also if you're lucky enough to get some plr articles which are articles that have been written for the sole purpose of people re-writing or using in their email lists then you can use them to totally re-write too, I do this often and I add images and other relevant link content ot them too with all the keyword research I do for each article it all creates a unique article.

Other people may use spinners, which I only do occasionally, because I prefer to write my own content from someone elses research, but write it in a unique way with my own opinion.

Hubpages Experiment - Writing Money Making Pages

In the last 3 weeks I've been conducting an experiment to write on a few topics that I rarely write about and I thought I would test out writing some of these topics to try and see how they make money through Google Adsense and Amazon and Ebay, now the main one that I tested was from a quick search that I did on how to make money and so I thought I would write up a hubpage on that search based title and add the word today on it for a little bit of current reference here is that hubpage article How To Make Money Today

Now the main areas I've been testing out is with keywords and seeing what works best for google ads at the start I did no keyword research through a keword tool like the adwords one, I just attempted to guess some of them based on what I was writing at the time, then as about a week passed I looked at my stats in Google Analytics to see if I could see anything to work on and low and behold, some good keywords came up that had been used to find the actual make money hubpage.

Now I took what I found and started to write short backlinks on Xomba, Shetoldme.com and a few other areas that would provide some traffic back, even if the do-follow links didn't remain at them sites, I was still intrigued by the popularity of this hubpage (which at present is getting nearly 150 views a day!) and it's made it on the hot hubs list which I'm sure is driving a few hubbers to it from within Hubpages itself.

I am going to keep my eye on this hubpage and many others that I've written in the last 3 weeks (43 hubpages to be exact!)

Writing Tips For Beginners

Writing tips for beginners is something that many do search for online and as usual in any niche there are good tips that are spot on in accuracy or there is garbage content that serves only the purpose of directing people to a product to buy or ads to click and that to me is not the way of providing useful writing information, sure if your product is good that you are trying to promote, but do try to make your free content sparkle too.

Read this article on some Writing tips for beginners, (you may have to squint your eyes slightly as the author hasn't put spaces in the paragraphs) grammar is one thing not to be overlooked, but I'd say your spelling is more important.
